(www.411mania.com)Filming is in New Zealand from January through March 2008.
Michael Sheen, Bill Nighy and Shane Brolly will reprise their roles as Lucian, Viktor and Kraven. Michael said about the film, "It's a prequel. I'm the hero this time around, which is going to be fun." An abbreviated cast list includes:
The Damned United - Brian Clough: Michael Sheen is teaming up again with Peter Morgan, who wrote The Deal and The Queen. Michael will play Brian Clough who had a brief, turbulent career as the manager of British football/soccer club Leeds United in 1974 before the team mutinied.
Peter Morgan is writing the script. Production will start April 2008 with a release in 2009.
This is a perfect opportunity for Michael to combine his football experience with his acting skill as he was a talented footballer in his teenage years. Michael says, "It will be my first chance to use some of my soccer skills," After The Damned United is finished, Michael intends taking some time off after working non-stop for the past year and a half.
Frost/Nixon - The Movie Michael was busy filming Frost/Nixon in August - September 2007. Michael and Frank Langella reprised their roles for the Ron Howard-directed film, which is expected to be released late 2008 perhaps around the time of the presidential elections.
Michael said, "I loved doing it and I think it's going to be a good film." He'll start publicizing the film at festivals after the The Damned United film is finished in early summer 2008.
Peter Morgan is writing the final segment of the Tony Blair Trilogy.
The film will focus on the change of the Prime Minister's relationship with America during President Bush's tenure. Production is expected to start in 2008 with BBC Films.

Northern Gap will be producing two plays in the 2008 season. The first play is Mercy by Lin Coghlan, who agreed to alter the original text especially for Northern Gap.
